main character (Amy Dylan) and I have a lot in common:
We were born and raised in New Jersey.
We graduated from Montclair State University,
though her college days were far more eventful than mine.
We have martial arts training. I have
black belts in hapkido (a mixed martial art) and taekwondo. Amy's
fighting skills are on par with a black belt ranking, but she
has no formal training.
We have daughters. Mine turns eleven soon,
while hers is sixteen.
