This
was a series of shader tests for the leaves and barks of a tree.
The tree was originally made as a sprite-tree test during the production
of "The Hobbit". The leaves here are "X" leaves
that use a punch-through shader. The shader has been set up to rotate
the textures and to dissolve to invisibility when seen edge-on.
Generally, sprite leaves are much faster and much cheaper in terms
of fill-rate, but this had interesting potential. The bark shader
uses a sine wave to drive a scrolling UV multiply texture.
