Artist: Olivia, grade 5. This is one of 25 large foam core board "cloud" airplanes that were installed in the Purple Sage Library for the 2007-08 school year to compliment the library's "weather" theme. Students created designs based on cumulus, stratus or cirrus clouds. I got the idea for this while travelling to Colorado for my brother's wedding and saw Patty Ortiz's "Experimental Aviation" art installation at the Jeppessen Terminal in the Denver International Airport.
